With so much gratitude for and motivation from all of the positive and supportive feedback on my culinary musings, I’ve embarked upon my latest venture, ”Trixie’s Mountain Kitchen.” It’s a project that marries my love for casual writing and casual cooking…flavor and substance with a strong emphasis on ease, complete selfishness in and ownership of personal tastes, with a “little” personal narrative.

In this process, not only will I be writing about my cooking, but I will be including my musings from the kitchen about how I’ve transformed my lifelong penchant for the dangerously decadent to the more wisely and healthfully delectable, with everything in between. The wheels already are in motion for publishing my first cookbook, Trixie’s Mountain Kitchen, a Lifetime of Recipes and Anecdotes From Big City to Big Mountain, and I’m beyond excited to put all of this out into the world.

I’m also in the process of personally building my website, and ask for everyone’s patience while it’s under construction. I am rendered completely incredulous by the phenomenal photographic team I’ve recently assembled, but it will take a hot minute before the fruits of their golden ambrosia reach the screen.

In the meantime, I’ll try to keep up the momentum with my written musings. Ultimately, I’d love to connect with others through the art, heart, and soul of cooking. If, in the process, I can bring a smile to anyone’s face with my anecdotes, maybe create an interpersonal connection through a similar recollection or process, that will bring me the greatest joy.

To those who have supported, salivated, and laughed along with me in the beginnings of this heretofore unbeknownst journey, I thank you for humoring me throughout, and especially now for lifting me to this exciting precipice. I am so ready to take this leap, and thank you all so much for helping me to finally realize what I want to do when I grow up! Color me grateful.
