Yesterday, I did a thing…it was time; it was timely; it was long overdue…

I partnered with an editor…now my editor…a well-seasoned, well-respected, highly visible heavy hitter in the culinary writing, editing, and publishing world…a woman who’s going to take my hand and hold it, while she takes all of my recipes and musings, my history, stories, thoughts, ideas, practices, and visions, teases through them, and helps me create form and substance of my life’s work; my passion; my ultimate vision. Together, Nichole and I will embark upon this huge next chapter of my journey in bringing my cookbook to fruition.

Over the next many weeks and months, I’ll be confronting my two most feared ‘S’ words: schedule and structure. I will be dusting off, remembering, and reimagining the tenets of commitment and accountability. I’ll be getting down to work. My work. I’ll be engaging deeply in something I’ve rarely allowed myself to do for any protracted period of time. And I can’t WAIT!!

Added to this excitement, my next studio photo shoot is in less than two weeks. My first cover shoot is scheduled this spring, and the second is in the works. This is happening!

I am so excited to be on this now very clear path to bringing my offering to you, my readers, my followers, my supporters, and my believers. Stay tuned…it’s gonna be big, and in living color!!
